Sunday View Day

FREAKING OUT with the time, I fixed myself in a jiffy. "I should have stood up on the first moment of the day that I opened my eyes! " I told myself this morning. I  was in a moment of fighting Mr. Conscience for favoring my restless body from waking up early for our National Service Training Program (NSTP) Acitivy to be held in Mountain View. I was blaming myself. Haha!

I should be in SM Starbucks by 7:00 am to meet my NSTP classmates. At that point of time, it was already 6:30 in the morning. I was really in a rush in preparing myself up! After a one hour ride to the meeting place, I waited for some of my classmates who too were late :P and our teacher, Sir Donn Riel who was still picking up our food and beverages.

We walked ourselves to the street in front of SM to look for a jeepney ride

And yes, this is indeed candid :))

It was already around pass 8:00 in the morning when we all gathered completely at Starbucks. We took the jeepney in transporting ourselves to JY Square. McBilly, a good friend of mine was across the mall while we were all waiting for the service van of Mountain View to come. Some of my friends saw him and they told me so. We finally got a ride after a long wait. We were all astound by the great views along the way to the highest viewing area.
Settling ourselves

I didn't know this picture :))

We took our lunch together after the arranging ourselves and our bags on the tables. We then went to so many areas in the place. We enjoyed the awesome breeze of the wind brushing the leaves of the trees. The views were exemplary! It was like we were staring at a map that was real- very big and the people and cars were moving. The sun was shining so bright but it didn't ruin our day.
Wweeee! Time to eat!

Uber hot!

We later then hooked ourselves with the hanging bridge. It was a very unique and scary hanging bridge. With the color blue, it was made out of thick ropes. Terrifying as it sounds and looks like, the challenge of passing one way through it was something really a great experience.

Gibbi did the dare of passing the bridge back and forth. He was awesome! He showed  to us while he was on his way to the middle part of the bridge that it was something everyone should not be afraid of. He made crazy and scary movements like jumping up and down (while his hands clasp the sides of the bridge), shaking the ropes and posing for some pictures *lol*

We checked the tightness and sturdiness of the ropes before Gibbi did the dare.

I of course did the dare! \m/

I was the first one in line among the girls.

In the long run, we conqured our fears and got used to it!

The above picture shows the bridge is not that very dangerous and scary but seeing it actual, you'll really be astonished of what it is made of and how dangerous it is to pass such kind of bridge. There were so many pictures taken but we haven't uploaded most of it because of some problems with the camera.

After a few hours of staying in the place. We walked down heading to the Karaoke House to charge the batteries of some of our gadgets. Some of my friends sang a few songs. There was another hanging bridge in the place. We all didn't hesitated to pass through it lots of times.
We're immune now. LOL

The bridge. Yup. It's actually easy as it looks :)

We rested for a while in a cottage. Some took pictures and the others enjoyed the wonderful views by walking around the area. My friends told me McBilly was in the place I took a glimpse at the Karaoke House and he was really there. I approached him while he was singing. Bwahhaha! I teased him for a while about his voice and then walked back to my seat. Moments later, Ace, her sister and I caught ourselves with the camera.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to ride on him!" XD

"No Granny! I'm Geli! She's Ace!" Tsk3

"I see a good furtune ahead. How about you two?"

Humaygawd! We're lost in time!

And the pure model strikes a pose :))

We turned the tree's frown up side down! Oh Goodie!

We feasted our junk foods and chattered about so many things. A little while later, Sir Donn Riel called our Mountain View service van to pick us up. We all then fixed and prepared ourselves in going home.

McBilly and I talked for a while before my classmates and I rode the van. He and his buddies were their for a certain celebration. I then bid goodbye to him and joined my fellow Icians in posing while the cameras stroked flashes at us.

The whole gang

Inside the van

It was around 3:00 pm when we all got back to JY Square. We all then exchanged goodbyes and made a ride to home. I directly went home to Talisay for a rest. I was a fun-filled day.

Informatics NSTP Activity

NSTP 1 Gathers for Children in Tupas

August 2,2009 is my not-so-average-meet-up day. Marinil and I with the accompaniment of Ms. Lyden pushed through our Second Feeding Activity in NSTP 1! Yezz! You see- it's just me and Marinil! Just two students! Ahaha! Well, it doesn't matter that much. We have this saying "the more the merrier" but today's activity made me into a realization that that quote doesn't apply nearly to every situation happening. We all enjoyed the activity from the beginning until the end.

Tupas is a place where most of residents are not well-off but despite the crisis lingering in the area, the people living there remains joyful and friendly. Although most of the males there seem to look like bandits and criminals, they actually are kind people. As the saying goes "Don't judge tha book by it's cover" -I say, that line applies to the people residing the place. Tupas looks dirty in the sense that most the houses look obviously made out of spare woods, large leaves of trees, plastics and rusted roof metals. It's really an unsual place.

6:00 am sharp, the entire crew met up. Christian with his father was there. Marinil, Ms. Lyden and I. Pax was unable to come for a reason we don't know. We were actually thinking he was lost but anyway, he's already old XD I mean,. Lemme say.. he's already grown up. Ahehehe. ^_^. Okay moving on, Christian was permitted by Miss Lyden not to attend the said activity since he was sick (that's why his father accompanied him). And so, the journey began! We rode ourselves to tupas via jeepney. It was as if we paid the entire communting fee :)) because it was only the three of us excluding the driver who rode the vehicle. Pretty funny. Really!

TALK | ELABORATE | SAY

Our next stop was San Nicholas Parish Church. I left Ms. Lyden and Marinil in the place and called several children in Tupas to join our free lecture and feeding. There were few of them at first but since I ordered the others to call more of their friends, the kids grew in number.

SO what's MALATA and DI malata?

Miss Lyden Lectures the Youth

OH YEAH! AND WE'RE DONE! ROCK ON!

And so the our activity went so good [as usual] nyahahah. It actually ended at 10 am. Marinil and I still had P.E. classes at 2:00 so we rushed home and met up in school. And what happened next? We didn't have classes!! WWaaahh! That was disturbing knowing that it takes almost two hours to commute to our home back and forth. Hmf! But there's nothing I have to complain, it's paid off by the Godly action we made last morning ^__^

Tribal Gathering - Back to Basix

Tribal Gathering: 7th Anual Informatics Acquaintance Party 2009

OH yeah! Back to Basix
I've been hosting since high school. I talk on stage in concerts, programs, symposiums, meetings and a lot more. It's actually shocking in my part that a long dead air took place last night! Ahahah! That was pathetic. I laughed at it and I guess not everyone did. That's pretty good.

I arrived at Base Line at 4:00 pm. Only Robert Barnes, our Student Buddy Officers (SBO) president and Franz Bermudez, SBO Auditor were there with my co-host -Michael Sinjin Pineda and over-all Acquaintance Party head- Miss Jonafel Torreon. Everything were all set so I took my cam and started to take video clips. Afterwhich I began set my cam to pictures and took a shot.

WWaaaahhh!! It turned itself off! LOW-BAT! GGggrrrr!!
Sinjin and Miss Joan laughed at me and I was todally hilarious that time. I laughed at myself as well. But it's really mind-boggling.. I've charged the digital camera for 10 consecutive hours. Hmm.. maybe theirs somethin wrong with the way I placed the batteries in the charger. Oh well. Ahahah! I had nothing to do with it so my camera stayed in my bag the whole evening. Yes. Bringing the camera was worthless! Hmf! Anyhow, I didn't worried so much that time because I was so sure that my friends and classmates will take pictures of me :P lol and a video of my dance performance.

Uhuh! You heard it right! I'm back in dancing again! Back to hosting and back to dancing. Heheh! I hoped that the audience will admire our dance (Had Kuya Marvin Galuego as dance partner). And you know what? The audience did! AHaha! I admit, our practices were better than the actually presentation at Base Line -many agreed with me saying that. Hehehe.

Here are some photosnaps of mine which many of my friends have taken :)) Big thanks to them -I have some photos to post. Yippeeee!!!

Anthony was there!

My girl friends with Miss Joane =D

The program ended so early. It was in our waiver that it'll end at 12:00 midnight but it unexpectedly ended pass 9:00 pm. Bwhahahha! So what did my friends and I do to kill the time? Check it in my next post! =D

Feeding Federation!

Kainan Nah!

Informatics NSTP 1 and 2 were merged up to make a big contributtion for the Feeding Program and Proper Waste Segregation Project in Barangay Pajac Lapu Lapu City of my close buddy Sam Catajoy, who is the chairman of the Sanguniang Kabataan (SK) in the place.

Here are a few photo flicks taken by myself and some by Shahannah. These were the sceneries wherein my fellow Icians helped in the distribution of prizes, handling of games and running of the entire activity.

NSTP 1 and 2 doing their move :))

THE SCENERY at the MUSLIM AREA

ICIANS on the GO

Excluded in my NSTP class, I still called Shahanah, Jen, and Jaja to come over at Sam's place to be with us during and after the activity. It was only Jaja who wasn't able to come. Though incomplete, everyone enjoyed the day.

SNAPSHOTS
From left to right: Marinil, Ms. Lyden, Sam, ME!, Jen, Jaja, Shan
[waiting for our orders to be served]

In this picture; you could add on the famous line during trips- "Are we there yet?"

ME! at Sam's house. LOLx
After the activity, my circle of friends went to Sam's house. We made gags, told secrets, had food trip and more. Marinil and Ms. Lyden joined with the group and the things we did. Later on, we went to MB's Tavern. I can't recall the full name of the Tavern :P but I assure you that I can remember how delicious the food was served in there :)) It was a day to remember and a blog to post and never to be deleted. Ehehhe! I was the first one who got home with Marinil and Ms. Lyden. The four people XD ahahha! actually insisted that I should stay but I badly had to go home at 8:00 because my sister has to have the digital camera I've been using the whole day. The four of 'em texted they went home at a time beyond 10:00 pm and so the story ends.
Chit-chatting

The next Saturday of it was another Feeding Program and Proper Waste Segregation Project for us NSTP 1 held at Tupas [my grandmother's place] in coordination with my Aunt Mary Anne and Cousin Marvin Cuyno who happen to be an SK councilor in the place.

VE 413 continuation

Okay, so here's the continuation :P once again, sorry for making you guys wait for the hangging post (the previous one) Anyhow, the wait is over :)

BA210 Group Presentation

headed by Yours Truly :))

GUESS WHAT? BA210 AND VE413 Group tied at First Place!

which means it doubles our workload off! Yippeee!!

Satisfied, I need to study a little bit for BA213 since it placed second. Ahahha!! The party was really fun though it took us a long time to wait for the food. The eating part was was a relief! Big thanks to Franz's mom for the uber delicious dinner she cooked for us. I won't forget this moment.

VE 413

I LOVE THESE GUYS!

Miss Juvie Uy Aba's days in Informatics are counted. In return for her well done teaching and priceless friendship and care, a party - a sort of a despidida and a cooperation test of us students under her was made. Miss Juvie elaborated to us the importance of our bondings and the value of cooperation in of the party. Conducted a contest, her main goal was to test us on how united we (all students under her subjects) are. Whoever will have the best presentation showing cooperation will win. And so, after one week, on a Wednesay, All open windows and doors were blocked. Room E was embellished with colorful papers and balloons (decorations like that of made during New Years Eve) Ahahha!

There were 3 groups. The groups were according to the subjects a student falls under Miss Juvie's teachings and since I am under Miss Juvie's three subjects, I have to present three presentations and surely will win all the three places. Bwhahhaha! :P Not cheating, just following the rules~ and following the rules is all a benefit to me! Yipppeee! Cheers! lol

The over-all winner will be exempted for the Test in the Finals while the second placer will gain additional 50 points to whatever score they will have in the finals and lastly, the third placer will have additional 30 points to their scores in the finals.

My classmates in VE413 are really kind. We have shared lot's of secrets and laughters. We have built friendship with each other and hopefully would not crush it down. I love them so much. They are actually the ones who made me say that VE 413 is my favorite subject!

Weeks in School

Time to Mingle

Well, how do I begin? It's the second day of school and I know for sure I need to KNOW THE ICIANS. There is a need for me to mingle with others -not for advantages but of to gain pals and buddies. I don't think JR and RJ will have more time with me and likewise with them since they have different schedules. I strongly believe that I need not to deal with others just to kill the times wherein JR and RJ are not around.

Shahanah is the name of the norwegian-japanese speaking-late comer gal I told you in the previous blogpost I published and HEY! What do you know? She's half Chinese! Nyahaha! We hang out which each other with new good friend named Erika but we call her Jhajah :)) For some reasons, she acts like a boy but we don't care as long as she is being herself -THAT'S GOOD!

Sbarro -AYALA [Shan's treat] We actually met a British guy here
in the scene and exchange numbers with him. He isn't cute as
for me but Shan thinks the guy is :))

T.G.I Fridays - AYALA "Sometimes, we actually seem
to forget the word LOYALTY since our school is situated
in a mall named SM, we need not to go to AYALA for
entertainment but what can we say? We just want to
trave elsewhere :P"

Informatics -SM [sitting on the coach-warming up for
the unending walk we'll be having a a few moments]

Bowling -SM [Love bowling so much, so funa and challenging!]

Tempura Japanese Restaurant -SM [Actually, this is the first
ever meal we took together- Shan's treat]

Above are only few of the places we went together and jammed. I'm really grateful for meeting them :)) They are really good friends and for sure there a countless moments we will be cherishing for the rest of the years!

School Evaluation

I'm now a certified ICIAN! An official Informatics Computer Institute International Student! Business and Information Technology course! Not to brag okay? I really am proud about it but I don't want to jump for joy in the streets for such attainment. That would be stupid and crazy. Nyahahaha! Moving on, I just want to thank my parents for granting my request of enrolling me at INFORMTICS! Thank you so much Mama and Papa! Muah! and to [lol. I'm like a host here thanking my sponsors :))] Miss Jill Scarlet Nueve who has been very supportive and encouraging in my process of decision-making on where to enroll for college school. I don't regret enrolling at Informatics -for now. Bwahaha! and I hope not :P

Informatics SM Branch it fun to be in. The uniform is crazy. lol. Computers are flat screened. Yea. Internet connection -present, Course consultants are so approachable- I like that, and what more.. uuhh.. over-all rating.. 85 percent! Ehaheeh.. Have I mentioned that the teachers are great? Most especially the woman named Jovie Uy Aba :)) BOY! she sure do knows everything about ACCOUTING and BUSINESS! She todally answers every question my classmates and I raise! And furthermore, she discusses topics very well highlighting every detail of the book which makes my classmates and I learn so fast!

Here's more: English teacher Mr. Carter ..uhh.. sorry to forget your name Sir ahhehe. He's a Cum Laude of USC! Whoa! Amazing teachers! Really!

My new friends are really jamming and we keep on attending parties every night! So FUN and quite tiring though. Ahhahaa! Because of our trips, we keep on going home late at night even at dawn :)) MY mom doesn't scold me and I think that's good- ehehe it just means SHE TRUST ME ^__^ I'm happy for that. This is just a quick update for ya'll. Keep on tunning with the musicality and story of my life 'til next time!

My School is Cool

Todally not OVER it!

Informatics ROCKS! AHaha! Classmates and friends are of different races and I typically lhurve the place! It's so cold! Not clean and that big though, as I expected but nah, it doesn't matter anyway. First day of school ended fine. JR and RJ, my two online friends became two real buddies to me. We ate and hang out together. I met unbelievable individuals there! Bwahaha! There was this girl in my first subject, BA210 who came late and she looks like a Norwegian but she speaks Japanese :)) Crazy huh?

Moving on, I tricked JR and Rj at first that I won't be studying at Informatics but when they knew I was attending the classes there on the day itself, their grins turned into grumpy faces! Nyahaha! I caught them but JR and JR caught me too! RJ long told me as well as JR that he won't be studying in the same school JR and I will be in and so, sad impression came to my face. This first day of classes at Informatics, MAY 4,2009, I just knew that they tricked me when RJ too got inside one of the classrooms and joined JR's classes!! Grr!! SO deceptive and funny!

I'll tune ya'll in with my college life and Oh Boy! I guess I won't be entering relationships and stuff like that. I'm too young to be involved in such affairs :P
