December: Christmas, Thanksgiving and Reflections

Let's all celebrate! December is here!

Today, the last month of the year starts its countdown from 1 to 31. Time to wrap up annual tokens, hang up colorful lanterns, alter red curtains, embellish cabinets with socks, decorate series lights, top our shelves with snowman figurines and so much more.

When it's Christmas Season, there are a whole lot of things to do that is very fun. It should be fun. Though December denotes that the year is about to end, everybody should be merry and joyful.

We should be thankful that we have arrived on this day alive and kicking. For God, who has given you the best gift ever, what will you give Him back on His birthday?


Addressing you these questions could be quite advance, but allow me to do it so- "How is your 2010?", "What did you accomplished?", "Did you lived up your Christmas Resolutions of last year?". Many of you may have the answer 'yes', but some have the n'o'. Santa is coming so you better be good ;)

2010, thank you!

Talking about this year would make me a very dramatic person. 2010 has given me bountiful opportunities and happenings that, for sure, will be reflected in a way or another on what will I be in the years to come.

This is the year that I boomed. And by the term 'boomed', I mean that I have been involved in so many things, I never thought I could be a part of. I have met so many kind and loving friends and had chances in attending sublime events.

Enjoy Christmas Season

It's not all the time wherein you get to bond with your family. This Christmas Season, don't let it end without exchanging hugs, kisses and 'I love yous' with them. Make peace to those you have confronted and find forgiveness to those you have made sins.

May God enrich our lives abundantly, fulfilling our earnest longings, answering our prayers and hold us closely in his loving hands. Enjoy your Christmas!

Enchanting Christmas at SM City Cebu

SM City Cebu's joyful Christmas celebration kicked off last November 6, 2010 at The Northwing Atrium. The event highlighted the grand launch and ceremonial lighting of the Enchanted Christmas Forest and showcased magnificent performances of Cebu's top musical and dance groups.

Mrs. Margot Osmeña, Councilor of Cebu did the honors in lighting the five stunning Christmas Trees of SM City Cebu's Enchanted Christmas Forest that was held simultaneously with 40 SM Supermalls nationwide. The show was graced by the Executives of the SM City Cebu, the candidates of Miss Cebu 2010 and some media personalities.

This year, SM City Cebu is partnered by Samsung in spreading the true spirit of the season. Stay tuned for surprise updates of SM's guest artists to perform live at the Northwing Atrium by December.

Think Pink Update: Celebrity Pink Auction

Among the highlights of Ayala Center Cebu’s 3rd installment of Think Pink Campaign is the First Think Pink Celebrity Auction. Stuff for the auction are on display in the mall's Paseo Marina that will be sold on October 22, 2010.

Participate in the auction get a chance to own celebrity items from Joana Lhuillier, Kenneth Cobonpue, Mateo Guidicelli, and many more! Proceeds of the Think Pink Auction will go to ICanServe Foundation.

Mechanics for the Pink Auction:

1. The auction is open for shoppers ages 18 and above.

2. Bidders may get their bid forms at the Auction Display located in Paseo Marina from Sundays to Saturdays, from 10:30am to 8:00pm.

3. Bid forms must be filled out with the complete name, age, address, contact number(s) and signature before dropping it in the designated drop box at the auction display.

4. Only personal transactions will be allowed.

5. The bidder is deemed to have inspected the goods carefully before auction and shall not be entitled to reject the item once granted.

6. A bid by a person shall be deemed as proof that the person has acquainted himself/herself with the terms and conditions of sale.

7. The highest bidder per item shall be awarded as the buyer.

8. In the event of a disputed bid, the second highest bidder shall be awarded the item.

9. Proceeds of the auction will go to iCanServe Foundation.

10. The highest bid in every item shall be updated daily and posted at the auction display.

11. Payment of the item will be made only through cash.

12. The auction will run from October 8-18, 2010 only.

13. Winners of each item will be announced during the Think Pink Cocktails and Concert on October 22, 2010 at The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu.

14. Last day of the submission of bid forms will be in the closing hour of the mall on October 18, 2010.

Ayala Center Cebu Intensifies Think Pink Campaign

October is the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In line with the occasion, Ayala Center Cebu continues to promote a holistic lifestyle through "Pink of Health" campaign. The mall intensifies its cancer-awareness program by packing the whole month of October with health and wellness events and partnering organizations, corporations and major companies.

Ayala Center Cebu continues to award its loyal costumers with affordable, healthy and environment-friendly activities. For this month, a variety of events are set to encourage shoppers to make a mark.

The Philippine Society of Medical Oncology (PSMO), I Can Serve Foundation, RC Cebu Fuente and RC Gloria Maris launched Think Pink 2010 with Pink Chat; an informative discussion on health, wellness and cancer prevention last October 1, 2010 in Ayala's Paseo Marina.

• October 23 – 5pm – The Terraces –The Pink trail will start at the Terraces and will end at The Walk in Asia Town I.T. Park.

Think Pink 2010 ends with a bang as Think Pink Rocks marks the culmination of the month-long celebration at the Open Parking across The Walk at 7:00 pm with Cebu's top bands and musical acts that will surely rock the night away.

I am a part of iLearners Foundation. It is a non-profit organization that aims to help eliminate rural illiteracy in the country. Aside from gaining new friends and the enjoyment you get, the idea of making people truly happy is one great thing that is good enough to pay the hard work of the group. How about you? Yesterday, bloggers were invited by Dilaab Foundation for a voluntary task. This task is to create stories and / or research and interview true-to-life happenings that are related with Faith, Hope and Love. The Foundation believes that a life can be changed one story at a time which explains why they invited us.

Not just writers, but also believers and helpers at heart are the people Dilaab is looking for. Yes, they are in need of new members. It could be that you'll just contribute stories to them and not register as a member. In the contrary, you can register as a member but will not write for the group (if it's not your forte to write, it's fine). Or you can do both ways; write for the group and register as a member.

Along with me last night at the Saint Jerome Bible Center of San Carlos Compound were Agnes, Mikyu, Lemski, Jaysee, Vernon and Mark. It was a fun-filled night for me. I was able to talk a lot with my fellow bloggers and get to know new friends. Allow me to elaborate some important details of the Foundation.
