Bonding Time

TODAY is a very memorable day for me. After being online for more than an hour last morning and after preparing myself for the happenings of the day, I headed off to SM to meet two of my five very close friends-Sam and Jen.

It has been quite a while that we three have seen the members of our circle of friends together because of trips, no-school days, long term family vacations and others. Although we were not complete in seeing each other, we really had fun with the time. Shahannah wasn't present because she had a very important appointment to attend while Jaja on the other hand was quite busy with her family ties.

Jen, Sam and I went to Starbucks at the Northwing of SM and talked a lot. With us was Sinjin who graced the much awaited meeting of ours *LOL* I was very happy that time! Super happy, I say! We four chattered about so many things; from the physical alterations we had down to the latest possesions we gained from so many things -mostly from the Yultide Season.

Introducing Jen's New Sony SW Vaio! As she wished- pink in color *lol*

I was the one who took charge in ordering the drinks. Look at the names labeled on the containers! XD All me in different versions! Bwahhaha!

Sinjin was still ordering his beverage in this moment. I've turned darker than before. Blame Sinulog. LOL

We three enjoying our orders.

Jen altered her hair color from black to red.

After around two to three hours of exchanging notions and alterations, we went out of Starbucks Coffee Shop and thought of the next place to go. Sinjin parted ways from us. He was busy looking for a room in a certain hotel to book preferably near OsmeƱa Boulevard for the upcoming Sinulog Mardigras.

Jennyle (Jen) shared with us her new laptop (as shown above pictures). She thought of purchasing a laptop keyboard cleaner so we three went to Ace Hardware to look for one. We were not successful in finding a handy vacuum cleaner Jen was looking for so we went to Octagon and continued the look but still we were not able to find one. Sam went ahead with us because he had to meet his mother who just arrived straight from Manila.

Jen accompanied me to Island Souvenirs Clothing Line Shop. I was able to buy a black colored shirt perfect for Sunday's event. It was colorful but then again, ladies' fit is something I cannot bare. I could have bought a shirt that of a size for men if only the store had more stocks *lol* (I prefer long shirts enough to cover a pant's zipper than short ones with its shirt end parallel to the pant's waist part) *eeeeee*

I was able to go home safe and sound in an early time around 10:00 pm in Talisay. I hooked myself with the computer where Sinjin was online too. He asked for help in calling different hotels in Cebu having a vacant room enough for one person or more on the dates 16 and 17. I took us around 10 minutes to chat and text in helping out to book a room on the very dates he desired. Sinjin had so many hotel landline service numbers. I contacted them all. I felt very drained that time for Sinjin. I have contact more than 20 hotels uttering the same greeting and asking same question. Guess what? The very last hotel on Sinjin's list was the hotel we've been looking for the whole night! *lol*

After Sinjin have reserved the room. He sent out via text message to me his gratitude. I was honestly thankful that time for two main reasons: 1) Sinjin will no longer have deep concerns on where to sleep for the grandest day in Cebu and 2) I can finally lie my back on bed. I was very tired and sleepy that time. Thank God! Problems solved!

Starbucks Limited Edition Planner 2010

Cheers! I've finally claimed one Starbucks Limited Edition Planner. Yippeee! For that, I can now create a review of the inside of this unique writing material that is good to hold memories and helpful reminders of our daily approaches.

By the way, I'm quite happy because our broken digital camera is now fixed which means I can now probably take some pictures for my upcoming blog posts. Going back to the main topic, above is a picture taken by yours truly. It's my very own Starbucks Coffee Limited Edition Planner 2010.

So what's great about this thing? Many. I may not be able to cite everything about it but I hope everything you'll know from here will encourage you to purchase Starbucks beverages to have yourself an original copy of the Starbucks Planner for the year 2010.

The planner cover comes in four different designs which is has a slight-rough texture quite the same to that of a felt paper. The first thing you'll see after opening the specialized red box is the planner wrapped with a glassine paper. Once you uncover the planner, you'll see the the hard-bound writing material with the cover design (your pick among the four choices) and a the words "Starbucks Coffee" in gold color, Times New Roman font format, bulging, manifesting an idea of value and importance.

Unlike the usual planners we use to see and buy in bookstores and writing-related shops, the Starbucks planner 2010 has its writing area horizontal in form. I really like it. It makes the user/ owner of the planner write quickly, easily and more organized. Every end of a month is marked with two pages designed to showcase some information and pictures about the history, products, vision, costumers, charitable works, partners and more about Starbucks Company.

At the back part, you'll see a small pouch intended for leaflet and paper slips container. What's good about this is that this pouch isn't empty when you first see it. It holds some folds of freebies and discount coupons. It's really amazing. The planner has its bookmark a new look. It's in a form of a single coffee bean with the characters: STARBUCKS 2010 embossed. You could smell a bit of coffee aroma when you flip the pages altogether. I love it!

Am I successful in convincing you to avail the Limited Edition Starbucks Coffee Planner 2010? I hope I am. God Speed!

Starbucks Christmas Traditions 2009

WISH FOR JOYOUS TRADITIONS

Photobucket

Hello coffee folk!

Time flies so fast. November days are over. We are now in December- the most awaited month of the year. The month were Christmas eve is slated and for that, great preparations should be made. Preparations -may it be emotionally, physically and mentally. Today I won't be stressing any of those. What we will be talking about is about Starbucks Christmas Traditions 2009.

Christmas day is so near. Malls will have their year-end sales, schools program Christmas-related activities, television shows launch Christmas oriented station ids and movie shows, friends begin exchanging gifts and cards, and of course, most people would attend parties celebrating the joy of our Savior's birth. Okay- I think I'm going to far --As practiced annually in the start of Yuletide Season, Starbucks Company unites with the people who heartily welcomes the coming of Jesus Christ. In line with this, they launched the Starbucks Christmas Traditions a few years ago. How is it done? Here...

People who purchase Starbucks products will be given a red card. These red cards contain illustrations of small squares having some Christmas details and stuff that make it look good. The squares drawings/illustrations will be covered with a sticker of its size every time the costumer/owner of the card buys a product. A product is equivalent to one sticker. A red card contains a certain number of small illustrated squares.

Everything I cited in the paragraph above alters yearly. It may or may not be that every product of Starbucks Company equates to one sticker and it may or may not be that there is a consistent number of small illustrated squares [which corresponds to the number of products you need to purchase].

THIS YEAR, you need not to drown yourself with 24 drinks unlike last last year's. The owner/holder of the red card is only required to accumulate a total of seventeen (17) stickers:

NINE [9] of any of the Starbucks Featured Beverages
EIGHT [8] of any Starbucks beverage of your choice EXCEPT bottled
drinks, bottled water and fruit juices

STARBUCKS FEATURED BEVERAGES

How I am today

Here are short statements that tell my concerns
and how I am for the week...
ENJOY!

HOW JEEPNEYS DESTROY MY LIFE
These days are so tough for me. Everyday, I go dull for more almost three hours because of commuting. If only vacant taxies pass unrarely in the SRP (South Reclamation Project), I won't be wasting such valuable time everyday. It sounds to me lavish and frail. Being aware of commuting everyday destroys my day. It makes me feel heavyhearted. But considering the fact that I can't afford riding the taxi ongoing to school neither forth going to school everyday with my unacceptable amount of allowance; also that I can't stand its unexplainable scent, I don't use such vehicle much in traveling.

SCHOOL SIDE-EFFECT
My mind goes blank whenever I want to write. It's like having a side effect of my entire day being drained by school work. I'm partly blaming some of my teachers and friends for making me go cramming for early deadlines to beat, errands to run, demands by head organizers of out of school activities, obligations to be done with obviously inadequate time, expectations to live up and many more significant others to please and accomplish.

UTTERING "THANK YOU"
These days are pretty tough for me. Some heartily lended their hands for me to successfully finish my work. And for their help, support and care, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my love ones: For my cousins Marvin & James, my very own Mama Dolly, My younger sister Monic, my very kind friend Shahanah, my Auntie Mary Anne, favorite Uncle Noel and most especially to GOD who is the paramount giver of all! You all felt sad for my weakness that made me feel so loved! You made me happy.

STARBUCKS ADDICT
I've been contemplating for an hour of something really worthless- it's about what will I do if I'll get one Starbucks limited edition 2010 planner. Well, pretty much of this day, I consider myself as a Starbucks addict only because I'm dying to redeem their Limited 2010 Planner. In line with that, of course you have to purchase their products. And speaking of purchasing Starbucks products, I've been buying their beverages often nowadays just to own ONE Planner! Wish me blessings guys and gals!

much love,

By the way, I apologize for having my pictures in low quality. I only used a webcam for this because I left my camera in the house in Talisay (takes four hours for road trip back and forth)
