Globe Network Transformation is Half Complete

Globe Telecom announced that its network transformation program is halfway completed, with nationwide cellsite change-out set to finish by first quarter of 2013.

 Providing key updates on its network transformation program, Globe Telecom President and CEO Ernest Cu described the company’s massive modernization effort as “different” in many ways from a traditional transformation that other networks go through. 

“Others mask modernization with simply a business-as-usual change-out of old equipment. At Globe, our transformation is very different because it is indeed building a brand new network covering core elements, transmission, and access equipment,” he confirmed. 

Pistahang Cebuana 2012

Last September 14, 2012, Cebuana Lhuillier gave back to its loyal Cebuano customers through a mini concert coined as Pistahang Cebuana: Libreng Pasasalamat Concert.

The event was a celebration of the 25 years of quality service by Cebuana Lhullier in the country. Music icons from Manila namely Sarah Geronimo, Mark Bautista and Erik Santos and popular dance group, G-Force showcased stunning performances to the audience. Games, raffles and other performances by locals were presented. It was one night Cebuana Lhullier customers will definitely not forget.

Zee Fashion Finds

Zee Lifestyle magazine celebrates its September Issue with Zee Fashion Forward, a series of events all centered on fashionable pursuits.

First in the line-up of events is Zee Fashion Finds. It was held at the Rizal Library Ballroom last September 5 and 6.

Branded pieces from some of the most fashionable personalities in Cebu went on sale. Clothes, sunglasses, signature handbags and shoes from various eras gave shoppers the chance to breathe new life into old favorites.

Part of the proceeds from the two-day sale was donated to the Rizal Library, the Beautiful Cebu Movement Foundation and other charities, making retail therapy an indulgence not so guilty.

The two-day event was made possible by Tresemme and Samsung.
