The charming duet of Marianne Dungog's & Kyle Wong's "Balay Ni Mayang" came in 3rd place. Alphecca Perpetua's "Historias" was given the Pinaka Fighter award as the entry chosen by Fighter Wine.

Taking on the ambivalent tagline "Bisaya Uy!", VISPOP aims to alleviate the current state of Cebuano music on the radio by introducing a more professional and competitive playlist of new Cebuano songs. However, its organizers are quick to point out that VISPOP is not just another contest, it is a songwriteing campaign.
VISPOP is organized by Artist Ko or Artists & Musicians Marketing Cooperative led by its core team Ian Zafra, Cattski Espina, Jude Gitamondoc & Insoy Ninal in cooperiation with FILSCAP (Filipino Society of Composers, Authros & Publishers).
