Acai Berry

Big things come in small packages - that is what Acai Berry lives up. What is Acai Berry then? How does it look and what can it do?

Acai Berry is a small, round, black-purple drupe, similar in appearance but smaller than a grape.  It is found in large palm trees in Amazon. It contains about 10% edible pulp and skin, and the remaining is the seed. Acai Berry tastes like a vibrant mix of chocolate and melted cocoa.

For years now, Acai Berry has gained popularity because of the effectiveness of its nutrients. The berry is proven to be extremely rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids and amino acids. There are numerous benefits to Acai Berry. Here are a few:
  • Improve vision
  • Enhances memory
  • Promotes weigh-loss
  • Boost the immune system
  • Boost energy and stamina
  • Fight aging and inflamation
  • Help maintain stable blood sugar levels
  • Eliminate toxins and waste in the body

Apart from the benefits, the best thing about the fruit is that based on current research, scientists have not found any side effects due to the intake of berry. Truly, Acai Berry is small, yet powerful in so many ways.
