Globe Telecom raffles off gadgets for Project 1 Phone advocates

Globe Telecom is raffling off one gadget every month as an incentive for its customers to actively support the company’s Project 1 Phone electronic waste recycling campaign.

                Project 1 Phone aims to recover and recycle e-wastes specifically mobile phones and portable devices as well as their chargers and batteries to promote proper disposal and to educate the people about the benefits of recycling.  Proceeds from the program will be added to the funds for 40 schools which Globe is building in Aklan to serve schoolchildren displaced by Typhoon Haiyan a year ago.

Watch The Vagina Monologues this Friday!

On April 25, 2014, 30 brave Vagina Warriors will speak up in a one-night benefit production of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues.



The play, which was first performed off-Broadway, delves into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage and excitement buried in women's experiences. It aims to bring to light the situation and conditions of women and girls around the world; in the hope that the violence inflicted on at least one billion women every year will finally be put to an end.

Fast Forward Faster

Cebu Holdings, Inc. (CHI) invites you to celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary with a fitness run for a cause.


With the theme "Fast Forward Faster", CHI opens three categories for the run: 5K, 10K and 25K. The top three finishers will be awarded with cash prizes, gift certificates and medals. All 25K finishers will get medals. The top 25 finishers of the male and female categories for 5K and 10K will also get medals.

Ayala Cebu Hosts Balik Cebu 2014 and Handumanan

As more balikbayans are expected to arrive in time for the Sinulog celebration from all over the world, tourists in the city will be in for an “unparalleled Cebu experience” this January 16. Initiated by the Cebu City Government through Cebu City Tourism Commission in partnership with  the  Department  of  Tourism,  Mactan  Cebu  International  Airport  Authority,  Sinulog Foundation  Inc.  and  some  volunteers  from  the  private  sector,  the  annual  Balik  Cebu  2014 Welcome Dinner and Handuman Cultural Center show will be on January 16, Thursday 5pm at the Ayala Terraces.


The  Balik  Cebu  Program  has  been  always  been  a  part of  Sinulog  activities  that  contributed largely to the increase of tourists since its inception. Now on its 13th year, the Welcome Dinner  hosted by Ayala Center Cebu will be serving local Cebuano dishes in “boodle feast” style that will certainly bring in nostalgic flavors of Cebu. Another addition to the dinner party will be the Handumanan or the Sugboanon Kanunayng Madaugon which showcases the best of Cebuano talents.
