Coalition for Better Education

Coalition for Better Education (CBE) aims to create empowered communities of learning. It is composed of students, parents, academes, government, non-government organizations and many others. CBE currently has 36 institutional partners and 243 individual members.


The main concerns of CBE include the following:
  • Training and Development
    Professional enhancement through subsidized training programs and access to various information
  • Academe-Industry-Government Linkage
    Networking and linkages with academe, industry, and government sectors
  • Leadership and Governance
    Advocacy for educational reforms; Trailblazer in educational innovations
  • Educational Community
    Opportunities to share one's expertise in various education activities and programs

This year, CBE celebrates its tenth year of service to the country. The celebration kicked-off with a media launch the morning of April 28, 2011 at the Innove Board Room, 18th Floor, Innove Plaza. In the afternoon of the same day, an exhibit was opened at the Second Floor Rotunda of Ayala Center Cebu. Cebu government officials and CBE officers and stakeholders graced the event.


The photo exhibit presents the milestones of CBE through the years including their programs, members and future plans. You can visit the exhibit for free. It will close on May 12, 2011
